Hi, I’m Paige Six — Watercolor Artist, Storyteller, and Nature-Loving Dreamer
Thank you for stopping by. If you’ve found your way here, I hope you leave feeling inspired, grounded, and a little more connected — to yourself, to art, and to the natural world.
I’m a self-taught watercolor artist originally from Chicago, now rooted in the rhythm of the Midwest with my sidekick (an Australian cattle dog named Cash), some brushes, and a car full of curiosity. My creative journey began during one of the most difficult times in my life — when my dad was battling cancer. Painting started as a way to cope, a way to breathe. Over time, it became a way to live.
Watercolor, to me, is more than a medium — it’s a practice in presence. It teaches grace through imperfection, intention through spontaneity, and surrender through the beautiful mess of the unknown. Like life, it’s about learning to flow, to adjust, and to embrace the magic that can only appear when we let go of control.
Mental health is at the heart of everything I create. My art is a soft place to land — a reminder that healing isn’t linear, and that expression can be both messy and magnificent. I hope my work offers others the same permission it’s given me: to feel deeply, to connect honestly, and to find moments of stillness even in chaos.
Beyond the paper, I’m a writer, a journaler, a tree-climber, a mental health advocate, a former bartender who still makes a mean mocktail, and a DJ/MC for weddings when the season calls for celebration. You’ll often find me chasing golden light, painting in the woods, or laughing at my own dad jokes.
This space is my open sketchbook — a living, breathing map of where I’ve been and where I’m headed. Let’s make something meaningful together. If you’ve got an idea, a collaboration, or even just a spark, I’d love to hear it. Let’s inspire
With heart and watercolor splashes,
-Paige Six
